Visitors

Ahhh, the spoils of a trip to Mexico! These are little presents from Great-Grandma and Great-Grandad! They are Christmas stocking (not really for her feet), a stretchy shirt that fits her and me! It is this crazy shirt that stretches out then really just shrinks back down, my Grandmas has 5 for herself. :) Also a "Loco Sip", that is its real name, it is a blue cow and you drink out of the tail, a blue halter swimsuit and a dozen or more foam balls that are used to pump up your veins (those are from Texas health fairs :). She loved even single gift and as you can tell modeled all of them for us. The tutu is the one I made her but Grandma wanted to see it on. Yes, I know she looks like a circus clown with all of it on.

The top picture was the morning they left - it was supposed to snow a whole ton so they left early and she has just gotten up. So sweet. The top picture was at 4 months old and the next one is current. It is crazy how big she has gotten!

More From Iowa

St. Patty's Day green picture - some of just hanging out in Iowa and then some more from the weddings.

We haven't had anything big going on in our lives. But we are ready for spring after out March snowfall. It was nice to have a day where we stayed in because of the weather and just hang out. But now it is 50's and almost all the snow is melting - back to "regular" productive life.

I will post pictures of Granddad and Grandma's visit soon! Maybe right now...

Sit, Look, Fall

Cadence was enjoying her modeling session and then she got distracted by her tutu. Then next thing I know, all I saw was tulle and a diaper. :) It happens to the best of us.

Random

Yes, I think Cadence was licking the tulle. That is a funny picture. She was wearing a "Daddy's Little Princess" shirt and since the purple matched her little tutu I couldn't resist taking some pictures. She has become quite the little personality lately. She rolls everywhere and is very talkative. Last night she rolled over to the DVD's that we have sitting out and she pulled them all out and looked at each cover, then she kept going back to the cartoon covers. I promise we don't put in movies for her. :)

We are going to Iowa for a week. We have 2 weddings to attend. I am sure we will get some super cute pictures of ourselves all gussyed up (is that a word...) anyways. These posts will have to tide you over for a week or so. Sorry, I will not be posting everyday like I normally do...hahahaha.

Tutu

So this is a tutu I made for Cadence. I wanted it to be all purple but ran out of purple tulle. I will know better with the next one. It was fun to make and I think the pictures with a professional photographer will be adorable it in. She loved to play with it and pick up the tulle pieces. She also thought it was neat to roll around in. :)
