Tile

Some of our appliances are in also - some are in the garage :). I forgot to take pictures of that. Here are some tile photos. We are waiting for tile to be done and toilets to be put in and then carpet and then we are ready for final inspection. We are trying to move in without a front door. Long story short - it will not be delivered until July 1!!! So we have the space all boarded shut and are hoping to save a month's rent by getting approved before then. The white stuff on the master bath floor is radiant heating - if you have ever had tile in the winter time it is freezing...so this will be great! We are so excited to move in and get settled.

Mother's Day Post

There will be no cute Mother's Day photo this year - it was spent with a 24 hour horrible stomach bug instead of with flowers and loved ones. Well, my parents were here but my mom was super sick that day too! The guys got it the next day...

The house is progressing - we are getting in a lot of finish work. Closets, filling nail holes, touch up paint, tile, soon carpeting. Who knew there was so much that has to go into a home. We get some appliances delivered soon and then the kitchen will be complete. We finally have electricity up to the house so no more work from a generator!!! This is excellent! I am starting to beef up my packing effort, knowing that soon enough we will have to hit it hard. I am trying to pack as much stuff as I think we can get away with not using for up to a month. It is hard to pack when you really don't know when you will be moving. At least when you sell a home you have a concrete date that you have to be out by. There is a "For Rent" sign in our front yard which means that at least our land lord thinks we will be out soon :). I have no new pictures of the house - and unless you find wood putty exciting that is okay.

I did snap a few pictures of my mom and Cadence before we all decided to get sick! The one of the couch was the day after the 24 hour bug that Ryan had - Cadence did enjoy all the snuggle time since we were all kind of stuck on the couch recovering. And I have a few cute ones of Cadence playing "mommy" - notice the list in her hand, pen in her hair, and stroller?? She is ready!
