Weekend Update

Cadence's new thing is to pull up on stuff and she started cruising on Sunday. It is really cute and a little bizarre to see her standing - it makes her look so much bigger!

She also likes to shake her head a lot which makes it hard to get a clear picture!

Cadence also drums on everything and is starting to copy us on actions not just sounds. In fact, she says "t" when I say that is hot (referring to food not a Paris Hilton type statement). And "d" when I talk about the dogs. Not that I think she is brilliant or anything...

Also, we think that her eyes are the "Laux part" of her looks. I was flipping through the camera and wondered out a picture of Lauren got on the card (whom we have not seen since October)- really, I get enough sleep it was just that the picture looks so much like our niece.

she has people on both sides with thick hair so i am sure she got those genes. Ryan and I were just talking about how she looks so different when she stands - bigger but so much littler at the same time.

i know i cannot believe she will be one in 5 weeks or so! i also cannot believe it will be june in a few weeks!!!

tell me about it Sarah! only 2 weeks ago she started to crawl on all fours and in two weeks she has had more progress in this area than in all 10 months prior to this!!

It is so fun to read your comments, Tiffany! I really do think Cadence is looking up at the camera wanting some grandparent arms to pick her up. Also, be sure to note that on Kira' blog, her mother got to feed her granddaughter M&Ms! Ice cream wouldn't be so bad, would it? (Except for the dairy, the sugar, the chocolate and the preservatives, that is.)
