Life in Pictures

Here are some pictures from the past few days...

The carseat picture is of Caleb and Cadence on the way to see "The Sermon on the Mount". It is a horse trainer/theropist/preacher guy. He uses the horse training as an alagory or some literary device to teach about God/relationships/personalities.
Then there are some pictures of other stuff - family gatherings (Kira is the big 1-0), Aaron trowing his baby to the ceiling (the angle makes it more dramatic than real life) and tummy time.

Not Me Monday

Since my dear friend asked me "What did you not do this week?!" ...

No, I did not just get Cadence's 3 week picture in the mail (with her 3 months pic...)to a dear friend. Also, I did not send out the pictures with the box of barrowed maternity clothes that I said I would have back to her about 2.5 months ago.

I, too, just like my dear friend, didn't go to Hy-Vee and come home with Ben & Jerry's new ice cream flavor (it was good, or so I have heard...). In my defense, I didn't go buy it becuase I had just gotten of the phone with my friend who had talked about having Ben & Jerry's.

I didn't think that SNL's parody on the VP debate was more interesting than the real VP debate. That would be highly unpatriotic.

And as a closing statement, I did not, would not, could not feed Cadence in the morning, bring her out to the living room and let her play on the play yard and snooze on the couch for an hour. That just might be irresponsible. And if anyone is curious - no, the dogs did not have to stay in their kennels for that hour either...

And We Chose...

Our friend Anthony took these pictures for us. The colors in the garden went perfect with the brown set of clothes. He did a fabulous job. There are a lot of pictures to choose from so I will just put up a few right now. We took the photoes at Kauffman Memorial Gardens in KCMO on the Country Club Plaza -- sounds fancy right? It was great - except Cadence smiled 2.5 times in the whole 2 hours we were there - go figure. I think she takes after her cousin Lauren :).

Family Pictures

We are taking family pictures tomorrow and I would like some help. I know this is a little late...but which set of outfits do you like? We are taking them outside.

3 months

Cadence tured 3 months on the 15th. I cannot believe it. A lady at church told me "The days are long but the years are short." I really can see how that is true (and it has only been 3 months).

It is like being on a honeymoon...

We seem to have a problem getting the 3 of us into one picture. It is like when you are on your honeymoon and you get back and all your pictures or of just one of you! HAHAHAHA The night I was wearing the wine colored shirt was supposed to be Date Night but then we had severe weather so at about 8pm we ended up at Culver's for dinner and then came home to a rented movie -- that is sort of a date night :)

Sugar & Spice & Everything Nice

After the chaos of getting to church, getting lunch, getting home and then feeding Cadence, I looked over and saw this cute scene. It is so sweet to have a little girl.
