Ramblings
As I have learned in the past 7 weeks motherhood is about many things. Here is a list of some of my most profound "aha mom moments"
*It is about learning all the things you can do one handed (like blogging, cooking, switching the laundry and putting on makeup)
*It is about having the wisdom to calm a screaming child when you would rather just scream along with them
*It is about knowing when to say goodnight - no matter how much you would rather stay and hang out with friends or family a little bit longer
*It is about taking too many pictures (see the picture above - I think she (or at least her hand) is saying enought already!!!)
*It is about finding the time to love God, your husband, and a child
*It is about finding that one thing that calms your child - in our case Cadence likes to Hula Hoop and step aerobics on the Wii Fit...go figure
*It is about enjoying every minute you can with your sweet baby while somehow finding time to continue with the (all of a sudden) mundane things in life
Well, that is all for my philosophical (is that how you spell that...) ramblings for the night - plus Cadence might wake up any minute...

ha ha. I like the picture of Cadence on the couch with the boppy thing. Seems like the boppy might be on the wrong side though - not preventing a spill off the couch.... Um, please try to protect my niece a little more please. Also, when did you get a Wii Fit? We've been looking for months, it seems. Oh, Cadence is looking cuter and cuter.
we got the fit from costco-- the first time ry saw one there i didnt say "yes" to getting it because i wasnt sure we would use it ... then the 2nd time (like 1 month later) we got it -- we LOVE it. as we were checking out (in the middle of the day) there were 5 other people getting a wii fit also!! in fact the first time Ry saw them we went back that night to get one and they were gone! hot items.
i will work on the protection thing... :)
You're still wearing makeup?! Good for you!
